Job description Junior Controller
As a Junior Controller, you will support the finance department in managing, analyzing, and improving financial administration. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and contribute to accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and checking financial data. You will assist with monthly and annual closings, analyze financial results, and help prepare reports for management. In addition, you will identify discrepancies in financial data and actively contribute to improving financial processes.

Focus and responsibilities
Financial administration and reporting
- Preparing and analyzing periodic financial reports.
- Preparing and monitoring cash flow reports.
- Processing and posting bank transactions on a daily basis.
- Checking and analyzing general ledger accounts.
- Preparing documentation for audits.
- Investigating and resolving financial issues and discrepancies.
Taxes and compliance
- Taking care of VAT returns and ICP returns.
- Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Payments and liquidity management
- Preparing and checking the payment run on a weekly basis.
- Managing and checking business credit cards.
- Monitoring the organization's liquidity position.
Collaboration and support
- Supporting the Financial Controller in various financial activities.
- Acting as a point of contact for financial questions within the organization.
Process optimization
- Actively contributing to the further streamlining and optimization of administrative processes.
- Identifying areas for improvement within the financial administration and implementing more efficient working methods.
As Junior Controller, you will coordinate the department's activities and work closely with the Finance Manager. The finance team consists of five employees who are primarily responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring that Beagley Copperman's financial records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

For the position of Junior Controller, we are looking for an analytical and eager-to-learn finance professional who wants to develop further in the field of controlling and financial analysis. You are accurate, proactive, and have an affinity for numbers and financial processes.

You also meet the following criteria:
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy, or similar
- 0–3 years of work experience in finance, accounting, or controlling
- Internship experience in a finance department is an advantage
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Navision, Dynamics, or Business Central) is an advantage
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Good command of Dutch, English, and German (pre), both spoken and written
- Residing in the vicinity of De Kwakel.
