A Bubbly
HATA Kosen is a soft drink manufacturing company that was Founded in 1946 by Haruichi Hata in Japan. Ramune, which means ‘lemonade’ was brought to Japan from Europe during the social and cultural developing era. Admiral Perry arrived in Japan in 1853 and used these carbonated lemonade drinks to entertain the officials on the ship. It is believed that whenever he opened up lemonade, everyone would hear a loud popping sound and immediately bubbles would flow out of it. At this time the famous cucumber-styled bottle came with a cork stopper tied with a wire. A few years later in 1860 a British ship brought Ramune in bulk and sold it to foreigners within Nagasaki Japan and later on it got distributed further by Natives.
HATA Kosen passion to produce the most exceptional, as well as traditional Ramune, continued to grow. Due to the war, many manufacturers had fallen, and it is HATA Kosen who kept their flame burning and continued to work towards their goal of becoming the largest Ramune manufacturer. Today HATA Ramune exports world-wide and is loved by so many around the world.
